The bicycle staging area is a fenced area that will have security from 7AM until 3PM when the awards ceremony begins. Your race packet will have a matching race number for your bicycle. It must be attached to the CROSSBAR of the frame of your bicycle with cable ties provided in your race packet. You will need your race number attached to your clothing to enter the bicycle area. You will need a matching number on your bicycle to enter the staging area with a bicycle and to leave the staging area with a bicycle.

Yes. The majority of the river bottom is rocky. Even if you are casually floating the river shoes are highly recommended. Flip flops are not recommended.
What is the river terrain like?
It is difficult to predict the level of the river based on the weather. Normally, there are many areas where the river is shallow enough to pick up your tube and carry it and if you are leisurely tubing you may have to lift your butt so you don’t drag on the rocks. You must stay within the riverbanks. Most of the banks are covered with trees and a bank so there are not places to run on the side of the river.
