Backpack Program Roundtable RecapThank you to all the incredible partners who joined us for our Backpack Program Roundtable! We brought together local backpack program leaders, food shelf partners, public health representatives, and other key stakeholders from across the St. Croix Valley for a powerful morning of collaboration, idea-sharing, and support.
Together, we explored best practices, shared challenges, and discussed innovative solutions to ensure that children in our region have access to nutritious food. Our collective commitment to fighting food insecurity is stronger than ever, and we are excited to continue working together to support local families.
A highlight of the day was presenting a $125,000 check, which represents the total funding River Valley Charities provided to our partners in 2024. This support helps sustain and expand backpack programs throughout the region, ensuring that children facing hunger have the nutrition they need to thrive.
We are grateful for the passion and dedication of all our partners, and we look forward to building on this momentum as we plan another meeting with even more partners around the table in November. Together, we are creating brighter futures for families across the St. Croix Valley.
